Window rubber replacement or lubrication
has anyone had issues with the bottom rubber scraper on the windows on a c2 cab sticking and folding under while rolling the windows down?
it seems to be worse when the car is hot and has been sitting in the sun. should i just replace these scrapers with new ones?

I had that problem on my 99 C2. I realized soon after that I had parked under a tree and some clear sap got stuck to the window and was sticking to the rubber liners. I took a razor blade to the whole window making sure the glass was brand new then gave the car a good wash. Try that before buying and installing new rubber that will be a pain in the a$$. Just make sure that you get a fresh blade as to not scratch the window.

I have never done it on a 911 But I have seen cars need to have the whole door panel come off. If you have to replace them then you have to. Otherwise try and scrape at them first, its cheaper.
