I just got a set of centerlock dummy caps for my Porsche stock 5-star wheels. These caps replace the ones that typically would have the Porsche logo. These are great, they are from FVD. The red pin matches my break calipers perfectly.

I would recommend this mod to all those who have stock wheels and are looking for a different, racing inspired look.

Hey, what about a stick-on air intake scoop on the roof like a GT-1?

 

It is removable very easily, opens right up.... Its pretty much the point of the cap though so if you like it you like it, if you don't you don't . I personally don't to be perfectly honest

Its a poser when a C2 puts a turbo front on or when a turbo puts a GT2 kit on...

Modifying your car with a different bumper or wing is one thing. This is putting on center caps to look like racing wheels, but there are still those 5 lug bolts...reminds me of people who wear those clip-on suspenders on their suit pants, and also wear a belt.

 

Well obviously many people feel differently as we probably sell about 20 sets a month!! Also there are a quite a few other companies that sell them as well (Cargraphic). I am not saying its wrong for you to hate them, thats whats great about this country, we can all like somthing different, however calling them poser is not right... I don't see how its any different than a wing or bumper... They are making their car look like another car, just like making this wheel look like a racing wheel
Like I said though, its people's taste, I am sure he didn't do it to look like a racing wheel, but instead because he liked the way it looked...

I've got the centerlock dummies and the turbo bumpers/spoiler on my lowly C2!

My wheels are black and I had the lugs powdercoated black, just for this reason. Blends pretty well. I'm not trying to fool anyone. I think it just looks cool. Hell, 99% of the population has no idea what centerlock wheels are anyway.
