clutch pedal
pedal engages clutch when released comes up about 1/2 way
and pops up the rest of the way. Are there spring adjustments, is there
a "cylinder" that releases it the rest of the way? Anyone have like problems? HELP don't think it's causing damage. Thanks

Turns out I had a worn out clutch. After a rebuild all is right.....or it it?
25K miles on a clutch still seems low to me. I only got it at 16k so maybe the original owner was a maniac.
I have also heard a click from time to time when letting out the clutch. I wonder if there is a problem with the slave cylinder? (guessing based on other posts)
What is an "accumulator"? I am obviously a little green. Never heard of it.
I would like to make sure I am not burning up my new clutch because of some other problem.
Thanks,
Andy

Accumulator is the clutch spring that helps the clutch pedal. You cannot adjust it.
It is installed between the clutch pedal arm and a bracket. Look up in the clutch pedal area. You will see a cynlinder-shaped object. That holds the spring.
My spring inside this cynlinder broke into three pieces at 55,000 miles. This part costs about $50 and took me 1/2 hour to install. Do a search. You need to insert a cotter pin (or small nail) into a hole to keep the spring from shooting out.

I checked my receipt. The spring is called the AS Servo S: part #996-423-081-20 and lists for $56.33.
