996 Oil Filter

Can anyone tell me what oil filters are approved for use in a 2000 Carrera 2? I have seen Bosch, Mapp?, and Fram, among others. I only want to use an approved filter cartridge. Do they all come with the new large O-ring that seals the outer filter housing? Should they always be replaced? Can I purchase the correct drain plug crush washers at AutoZone, etc? Thanks again.

Thanks Kaz and Lerxst, thanks for the info. I ordered some Porsche labeled filter units, new crush washers and a filter removal tool from Pelican. Thanks again.
