OMG, Passing a Red light Warning Only! Gotta buy that cop a gift soon.
Going through a busy intersection, halfway through the intersection, the light turns red, not my fault, the traffic stopped halfway. There happens to be a cop sitting on the corner, he looked at me and asked me to pull over. I did.
now i don't know what did it for him to feel sorry for me and just warn me. It has to be one of the below or both...
1) sweet talking him that I appreciate a warning officer, it was a mistake, i am a good defensive driver and I always follow and obey rules.
2) was driving my nephews' 89 325i BMW.
3) not having the 11-99 foundation license plate cover.
I guess the cost of the court and ticket and penalty adds up to around $650.00. If i ever see him again, i buy him a gift.

Wow, you really got lucky. I got pulled over for front license plate a few months back, and the motorcyle cop was on foot past an intersection, just pulling people over and ticketing one-after-another for anything he could find. I actually pulled up (slowly) 10ft past him so I wouldn't pull over into a red zone, and also so I wouldn't be too close to the corner, surprising someone turning the corner with a car right in their path. The guy got really upset that I didn't pull over right on the spot where he was standing. I explained I was just trying to be safe and considerate, not block anyone and wanted to be sure I didn't stop in the red, and he was just a real mean fella about the whole thing even though I was calm and respectful. Hope I get an easier time like yours the next time. Did you also have every light turn green as you approached that day?

I am sure if i was in my Yellow M3 or black Porsche, it would have
been a citation for sure. At the end he said if he sees me again pulling that stunt, he'll write me up this time for sure.
And also he said that he's going to remember the car since it was very unique looking. He didn't know that i am selling it this weekend.

hmmm, Valentine 1 went off twice tonight going down on PCH.
OMG , is this a coincidence or what, now tonight driving my Yellow M3 crusing down PCH from friends house, bam, 1st warning , the signal got stronger and stronger, therer was police car parked with lights off on PCH. I passed by him at 40mph. I was like darn, that was close. 5 minutes later, i get a laser warning and 2 seconds later another laser warning, going downhill on PCH, guess what, another police car, and i noticed this guy standing outside his car, and holding a Laser at oncoming traffic. Again, from the first cop that I saw i maintained my speed. 2nd cop, i was going around 40MPH.
Warnings are nice. Getting nailed with no warning is bad.
conclusion. Arrows on V1 rock. without arrows, you be spending little bit more time and research to see where the trap is.
drive safe and keep your belts on. (seat belts)

I ran a red light once with a cop behind me - I mean straight up ran it, it turned red about a second before I went through it. He stopped for the light, but caught up to me (I decided it would be a good idea to not try to lose him) and just gave me a warning because I said I had been watching him in the rearview, and therefore didn't see when it actually turned yellow. I apologized, and he let me off .
