This is unisuede; about the closest I have found and almost as expensive. I have both but figured I would give this stuff a try and I like it.

How did you do the shift lever? Does the top aluminum colored part separate from the leather part? And if so, how do you take it apart?

Yes the **** comes apart in three pieces. You can actually get a good how to from this site. As for the boot itself, I do my own sewing and made a duplicate of the original then put it all back together.

Very nice, from the pics your work looks very authentic.

My only sugestion would be to try and get the color closer to the rest of the interior leather, not sure if it can be dyed or not, unless you chose a lighter material for contrast in which you achived the look you were going for. Just a suggestion.

Thumbs up

I would think he was going for the contrast.....

Turned out great!

You for hire? How big of a pain were the door handles and pocket covers?

I need to do mine. It looks like it would match my seats nicely.

Lets see if I can answer all the questions:
1st- thanks for the compliments.
Yes- The "c" shape of the door pull is a pain in the ......!
Yes- I am for hire if you are serious. I am located in KS.
The contrast is a lot from the camera, but yes the gray is a little lighter. I guess the sheen of the suede reflects a little bit plus the OEM gray is a little dingey, thus the reason I started the swap.

Pulled the part; then just ripped off the old leather. It's just glued on.
