not really as these are 10" not 11" wide

run the calculator and use 996 GT3 spec's (11", et 63) as a comparison. These are only 7mm extended over GT3 spec's...nice narrowbody offsets...

but wern't gt3 wheels pushed to the max and even came with rolled fenders just to work. even if i rolled my fenders they would still rub, i guess 7mm makes a huge diffrence. what width size tires came stock on gt3 rears?

okay if the inner lip was increased to 8" from 7" what would be the new offset? i know it wouldn't be as simple as saying that my 10", et 43 are now 11", et43. can someone help me with this calculation...

I'm guessing that 1 in is = to 25.4 mm so 1/2 is about 13mm so i add this to the current offset and now i have 11", et 56 offset. AM I ON THE RIGHT TRACK??

GT3 came with 295/30. They key is it came with an optimal suspension setup. With a new suspension set to GT3 specs you should be able to tuck the existing wheels/tires.

Tell me more.... As of right now i have a set of 305/25/19 on a fedex truck being delivered tommorow. I know i need a 11" wheel. so i do need to change a few things on the wheels. But what do i need to do to the suspension? Ive been looking at the ksport coilovers but is there more to it than just coiloves?

OKAY HRE has a fix for me, I'm going to get my factory set put back on in about 2wks, and I will be shipping the rears then. If i had the cash right now they would of been right back on the Fedex truck that just dropped of my 305 tires....lol

They are pretty much just reducing the outer lip from a 3.0 to 2.5 and increasign the inner lip from 7.0 to 8.5 this does change the offset to 68. Idealy I wanted to be at 63 so what does everyone think???

Sounds like a great solution. You could add a 7mm spacer if you want them to look a little more aggressive. I think you will still want a drop (coilovers). Preferably, look for a set that comes with adjustable mounts (which allow for camber adjustment).

19x11 et67 is 997 offsets.... which is perfect for the 996 NB, et68 is negligable. But let me get this straight.... is this wheel 10" or 11"?

it will become a 11". right now its a 19" x 10"wide et43 with 3"outer lip and 7" inner lip. HRE will change the outer lip to a 2.5" and the inner to a 8.5" lip. this will make the offset a et68

I wish the center pad could be cnc'ed down about 5mm then i could keep the 3" outer lip and just change the inner lip to 8" and i would have a et61 HRE JUST SAID ON AVERAGE THEY CAN ONLY TAKE 2 max 3 mm off
Im just not looking forward towards paying 1100 dollars so im still keeping my options open for right now...

I would leave as-is and put that $1.1k into the suspension.... MUCH better ROI...
