okay, im scratching my head right now... I just bought this car. IS IT LOWERED??
the 285/30zr19 tire in the rear only has about 1 inch between the tire and fender
here is a close up of the rear, its a bad photo since i took it with the phone and its dark outside
And here one of the front (about 1.5" gap) they are 245/35zr19

ok the offset must be "wrong" on mine because if my car was lowered my fender would sit on the tire. "just slightly, but none the less it would still sit" what can be done??? or am i just S.O.L.??

There should be an HRE # on the inside of the wheels. Get the #'s and call HRE. They can tell you the details of the wheels (i.e. width, offset etc.). If the offsets are way off you might be able to send the wheels to HRE and have them swap a part in order to get the proper offset...

its those tires.... they are way wrong. You were better of with the 305/25-19. Now you are passed the 4% error rule of thumb. These cars were designed for 25" tires. Your performance threshold (ABS, PSM etc) has now been decreased....

Edit: looking back at your photo.... your rears are 285/30-19 not what you stated, 285/35-19 its seems you are good now (within the 4% limit). Then I believe it is your suspension.... pull out a wheel and take a pic of your shocks/coil setup and post it here.... if its a adjustable it shouldnt be a big deal to get it where it should be. Here is the new clac on the tires...

thanks redridge, but it looks like the issue is that my wheel/tire is flush with the fender so that if it does bottom out it looks like my fender will rub on the tire. And these are only 285's (heck 305's are with fedex on the way....lol)

I had 305/25-19's and they fit really nice.... its all in the offsets of the wheels...

OK, i got of the phone With HRE and the wheels have a 43 offset. The outer lip is 3.0 and inner is 7.0 They are going to see what can be done to get 305/25zr19 tires to work properly, if possible. They can mill some material from the centers but usualy its only about 4mm if there is enough thickness. The other thing he mentioned that he is looking into is if increasing the rear lip will help pull the tire in a bit.
IM KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED AND HOPING THAT HRE CAN HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM...
