these are more rare than 996 c2's and quicker. you can spray perfume on a c2 but its still a c2

 

Those S54 M-coupes command a premium. KBB has them around 12K - they sell for 25K+

I raced my buddy in his - had no problem staying ahead. Similar weight/HP as C2's - but no match at all...

i love that car.... i call it the M bubble lol.... there was a built turbo one out in suffolk li.. i saw it years ago on deer park ave ... anyone here know of it?? it was verrry fast and hot looking

It's called a Clown Shoe, actually. Also fondly called a *****......that's why girls love it......and it's stiff.

 

 

my track instructer for an audi club event a few months back at NJMP had a turbocharged one.. he's running 8lbs of boost and fully tracked out.. he let me ride passenger with him for one of the sessions... OMFG.. what a car.. that thing just pulls and pulls and pullss

 

yup, i htink he is still around with Eurowerks or whatever they call themselves now.havent seen that car in about 2 years but havent been to a BMW gathering in the same amount of time either.

 

I love this little rocket too, great handling, light and can be tuned to be very fast.
I had the roadster back in the day and still think about it once in a while. The fun/enjoyment factor is on par with the E36 M3 coupe I once had also, I dont know what it is but, these two were probably the most enjoyable cars to drive for their own reasons. Plus they looked great in Dakar Gelb!

 

Oh that Estoril Blue, One of my all time favs on M cars, right next to Dakar Yellow.
