NGK BKR6E Spark Plugs?

I'm about to order spark plugs for my 2002 Carrera. Any thought on using NGK BKR6E spark plugs? They are listed on NGK's website for being compatible with every 996.

i have a feeling they're going to be exactly the same as every other plug. plugs are plugs.. when people think they're getting more power or fuel economy its almost always entirely a placebo effect.

I used the same plugs when I did my last major service on my 2002 C2 Cab. Car runs great, no problems whatsoever, (knock on wood). I'm going on approx. 3K miles since service. I did have to gap them however, everyone of them were off by quite a bit.

I never gapped mine and they run great.. Kinda makes me think I should take them out and double check the gapping. So far so good though, it actually seems to idle better than before.

if it is running fine I wouldn't worry about it. I think they were supposed to come pregapped, but apparently my store likes to play hockey with their products on break, because they were all off by quite a bit, lol

Yeah, right. A friend of mine who is a cert BMW tech spent several hours troubleshooting erratic behavior on a 7 series - weird stuff, like spurious low tire pressure signals, very intermittent. Turned out to be the Bosch spark plugs. Replaced 'em with NGKs and no more problems.
