Hey guys picked up my hardtop I had at my buddies warehouse and was debating on using it, or selling or trading it for a red one

IMO, sell it or paint it.

 

It wouldn't be worth painting , it would cost as much as buying another, maybe someone else could use it , ps black doesn't look so bad lol my soft top is black

 

When I first looked at it I thought the same thing about the soft top, but it is gloss black and a hard top not a soft top. You can certainly get away with it, it doesn't look hideous, but again, IMO, it doesn't look right either.

BTW where did you get your tinted rear window or is that glass?

 

Yah , idk it would be nice if it were matte black


It's plastic , and I had a guy out here replace my old one, I think they just buy the plastic in bulk and cut to the shape of the window, I paid around 350-400 for the job which was a great price being that they took the whole top off

 

Differing from above posters, I think it looks cool, different. If I were in your place, I'd keep it on.

 

I think it works but you need to get it to match the hood !

 

Agree, esp if the price is right. As another poster pointed out, the black soft top is effectively the same combo.

 

I like it, soft top look in the winter.

I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did. I think it's a somewhat reminiscent of the early NSXs. IMO it's a little 90s looking, but still, it works.

 

or wrap it in the carbon fiber look, that would be cool...
