Ok folks I'm gonna talk about loud loud loud pipes here...

I got cat and muffler deletes. Yes I like it loud. Maybe you don't. That's just how it is.

Anyways...

If I put headers on will it make any specific sound difference meaning: higher pitch, raspy, drone, etc.

Thanks guys!

seeing as the factory headers dont have catalytic converters in them, i can't imagine they'd change the sound much. It might be a tiny bit louder simple because aftermarket ones likely use thinner metal and have a slightly larger collector/outlet.

What about RPM being more active due to high/increase flow

what kind of bypass pipes are you using?

fabspeed x-pipe & muffler bypass?

i'm personally running the generic ebay muffler bypass pipes. They fit perfectly for me and I've had no problems with them. A tad loud for my taste, they just suck on the highway. I think i'd probably enjoy the afterhours exhaust or fabspeed supercup.

Fabspeed X pipes cat bypass and Fabspeed muffler bypass. I'm trying to figure out if I it will make any sound difference as far as tone deeper, higher pitch, change of drone, raspy noise and such. (it's going to be really hard to notice the difference because it's just so loud) And I like it!!!

I know right? I mean I hear all headers are the same, just how the welds are that matters. Do you have headers yourself?

If so, do you notice any sound differences?

I was wondering about those Ebay headers too....... The $100 price makes me question both their quality, and the price of more expensive headers (are they worth the extra $$$). Has anybody seen these headers in person? How hard are they to install on our cars?
