02-05 headlights [what is this chrome plate thing?]
I just noticed this now.
What is that chrome plate on the top of the lens ?
My guess...Headlight washer?
If so, how does it work? Do I link it to the fluid washer?
I don't really care but if I can get it to work would be better.
If I'm wrong then what is it? What model of the car C4S or?

I'm not sure about the hooking up part, but I do know that pulling back toward the driver on the windscreen wiper stalk sprays the windshield, and pushing forward works the headlight washers.
I definitely suggest draping a towel on the hood because it goes everywhere.
I was also told never to use it while in motion because those caps fly off very easily. I had to install a new cap when I bought my car (used), and haven't used them since-probably never will.
They won't stay up without holding the stalk forward, so its a 2 person job to just replace the cap.
Hope that helps

if you've got the headlight washer it will be active as long as the headlight housing is installed in the cradle.
There's a hose coming from the nozzle which connects to a fitting in the cradle when you slide (and lock) your headlight in the fender.

I use mine almost everyday here in Toronto during Winter it does really help actully... But they tend to not work in really cold Temps like last night -25c they came up really slow and no Fluid came out probaly coz the line was Frozen... But after eveything heated up (Headlight Heat) they worked fine.
