I am about to finish a long running custom audio project. I have 2 Focal 13ks Subs in my doors, i have 1 300w sub channel on my amp left open. Trying to figure out placement

Please post pics of you sub enclosures for your Cab. Please let note if it restricts proper function of the seats ect. ect.

Just a simple JL W3 it fits in good with the wind deflector in. Goes in and comes out very easy if i need to use the seats.

 

like the simplicity...what JL w3 is that 6 - 8 - 10 ??

 

Here's pic of a JL8W1 in a smallish enclosure on the right of the center console passenger side.

 

I like that. I have a cab and thought I could not install a sub woofer easily. That is a sub woofer, right? How did you do the install?

 

It's a JL W3 8inch I got it from Crutchfield. Was very cheap. Sounds good for what I listen too.

 

I GOT JL V3 10 INCH in custom fiberglass in rear seat area.I have it done by member here (werks1) and he did very reasonably priced.the fit is exelent and he is very helpfull guy.

 

Yes, it's a 8" sub handling all the low frequencies in my system. I had a local OC audio shop custom fabricate an enclosure and install it. If you're interested in I can give you the contact information of the shop just shoot me a PM. Since you're in the OC we can also meet up if you want to take a listen.

Two 8" shallow sub enclosures behind front seats. No interference seats when positioned all the way back. Barely sufficent bass (does not hit very low).

 

Gotta love these cabrio's no space for good bass...
