millenium color matching

Long story short,
2000 millenium, due to ondriver negligence, i had to hit a curb; bumper, radiators and a bunch of parts later the car finally gets back to me. due to the shifting colors, the bumper seems the same color, but with sunshine it has more of a bronze look to it... i understand about clear coats and all but the tone of the paint is clearly different.... The guys at the shop asked me to go back next week and they will have a machine to due a perfect color match.... Shouldn't the original paint have the same tone?
I will say that once you get the taste of driving a 911 as a DD, getting in that camry every morning (rental) really put a frown on my face. This morning i drove the porsche, cant stop smiling!

I'll have been in the collision business for over 16 years you can only order touch-up paint. You should ask what company paint your body shop uses! For porsche's factory paint I use spies hecklers or standox for the best color matches make sure it's a high solids uv clear coat .
