Sounds like a great car and Id love to hear your impressions when you get it back

BUT, if you want to upgrade to the twin turbo, the front driveshaft can be uninstalled in 15 minutes on the TT (longer if you remove the entire system) to give you 2wd- and then you get the looks of the turbo, the speed of the turbo, the highly modifiable turbo platform, the gt engine block, the resale of a turbo, the rear wheels of the turbo, ect ect ect for the same price.

I didn't mean to high jack this thread. I don't plan on selling. It is not a garage queen so of would never bring good money. I plan on tracking and driving my car. It is just a toy after all. I would of ended up putting much more onto a tt if I would of gone that way. I think that adding a turbo either twin or single is great if that is what You want to do.

Ditto. Plus the 3.4L in the 2000MY is a weaker motor.

I don't believe the 3.4 is a weaker engine. If the weak points are corrected such as ims, it will last as long as any other. When built they put out about the same power.

Don't do it! Just drive and enjoy. Want a Turbo? Then buy a Turbo!
