It works on virtual Windows 7 image on my MacBook Pro using Parallels, I am willing to assist if you have difficulties. I have access to old computers and installed a fresh copy of XP on an old Dell laptop, we'll XP is not being supported anymore by Microsoft. So, no updates, no .NET which is needed for the Durametric software to work. Anyway, works with Mac using Parallels Windows 7 virtual image and Windows 7 on a Dell machine. Everything you need comes with the cable. Old version of Durametric, driver, instructions.

Again feel free to ping me if you need help.

So I finally got it to work on both my vista and windows 7 machines. I am having a problem connecting to the DME. I can read other code areas, but not airbag or DME or those areas. I get a Module Failed to Initialize. Anybody have any ideas of what is going on? Thanks!

Once the cable is plugged in and the PC has recognized the car unplug the OBDII from the car and plug back in with the switch turned on the car. If anything you can even fire up the car and see what your are getting.

Thanks.
hi, i have a china dramatic cable, but i haven't got my Porsche 997 yet. I want use it to check rev and error when buying used car. I have installed the 3.0 software on my bootcamp windows10 MacBook Pro. After I plug in the cable, I could hear the usb connection sound shows it have connected. But when i click the software it says "diagnostic device is not plugged into USB, or the driver is not correctly." my windows 10 is x64, want to know how to install the driver. I saw someone says only work with x32 os, right?
and when you use the parallel windows7 in mac, did you use x64 or x32?

i think windows 10 and windows 7 share the same method of installing drive.

And am i able to open the software with only the usb connect to my computer but the obd side is not connected to the car? Just wanna test is before I get to the dealer.

I'd like to say mine is 64bit as well, not entirely sure, but it should not make a difference. Seems to me all you have to do is plug in to the car once at the dealer and it should recognize it.
