Michelin PS2's on stock wheels question

Do the 235/40/18 N3 and 295/30/18 PS2's fit on the stock 18" Carrera Lightweight Wheels?

Also are these the two tires that people purchase or do they purchase the N2 version of the 235 for the front?

(I don't see a 285 rear)

Thanks

Adam,
yes they will fit but the rear might just be a bit too wide.

as far as i know PS2 doesn't come in 285/30-18. N is the rating system Porsche use for tires. the bigger the number the newer the tire is. i wouldn't mismatch them even though they're the same tires.

Thanks. Yeah I see a few posts about people using the 295's on their C2's on stock wheels just not sure how well they fit. The 295's don't seem to have a Porsche N rating on tirerack's site for some reason which is confusing me.

with or without N is not big deal. just make sure they're all the same.

I had a different manufacturer on my stock rims (5spokes) and had 295's. I am surprised at how different each manufacturer is with regard to width. My PS2's are not as wide as the conti's I had.

BentleyNPB,

Do you know if they fit if your car is lowered (x74 suspension). Also did you setup most of those guys with 235 fronts?
