Oh, no, won't be staying at any place like that. I think I am going to book at the Sheraton in Bako as that is the host hotel for the event and about 20 miles from the track (I didn't realize that Harris was 67 miles North.).

 

I just checked the Sheraton in Bako, rooms are still available though the room rate at $84 is no longer available. Rooms are $99 now.... plenty of space they said

My car is getting put back together but I will be there. I was hoping to do Friday at Thill too but work got in the way. John, you lucky bastard.

Whoever wants to caravan down on Friday let me know. I land around 3PM and so can be ready to leave around 4:30 or as long as it takes for me to cab home and leave.

 

Just got off the phone with trackquest and he says they have plenty of room for everyone. Sounds like it will be quite a weekend from the way he described how it would run. Quite a lot of track time for everyone...

 

aw dang, gotta miss it. busy weekend with the wife's bday and all. i'm just glad i didn't forget it :O

I just found out that I'll have a shot at Buttonwillow myself on April 26th. My company is closing the track to the public so that company employees can have the track to ourselves. Food will be catered and the track is being reserved the whole day!

I can't wait to see some pics of this weekend's event.....
