1st Time Porsche Owner - New to Board

Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself here. 1st time owning a Porsche. I picked up a 1999 911 C2. Zenith Blue with the aero kit and taco wing..... Like many of you, I'm sure, I have owed several other cars before and always wanted to try on a Pcar for size. Here's a photo....can't wait to have it dropped at my doorway.

I just bought her yesterday and I am working out the shipping right now. Seeing how Intercity's prices are first since they are a site sponsor.....

Anyway, I look forward to reading through the years of knowledge and conjecture here to help out with any maintenance and projects I get to over the next couple of years.

Uncle

When I bought mine last year my nine year old son and I flew across the country to pick it up, and spent a week driving it back (obviously not in a straight line). Best experience of my life.

On the other hand, as my wife reminded me, my first P-car, a '72 911S, i trained down to NYC and started to drive home. at mile post 34.5 of NYS Thruway, the timing chain slipped and took out half the engine. Didn't drive it for 3 months.

Newer ones are better.
