fit my 2001 996? i know it says 2002-2005 but it looks similar to mine.. thanks

They wont fit.

Altough similar, the facelift gauges are not identical to the pre-facelift gauges.

If you look at the FVD site you can clearly see difference between them.

Easy way is to look at the Speedo(175 for mk1) and also the angle of the "sad face frown" on the bottom of the center tach dial. MK1 is sadder.
