Ruf Pedal install

I have purchased the carwel aluminum pedals for 6 speed with the foot rest (same pedals as the Ruf but without the logo). Anyone know of the best and easiest way to install these? - This must have been discussed before. Thanks

I installed mine a few months ago and love them. Photographed the install and put the pictures with comments up on the web.

Hope it helps. I know there are some other guides out there if search around.

Thumbs up Pedals

Just be careful with the clutch pedal...it has to be able to go to the floor for the starter to kick in...if you mount the foot pad too low on the clutch pedal you will be doing it again to get the car to start...I was fortunate that another 6speeder had this experience before I installed mine...do the clutch first making sure the car will turn over and then do the brake pedal....they look and work great...good choice..

That other 6speeder was me. At least I'm probably the only one on here with the light weight clutch pedal mod!!!

When's out next run, Chuck?

I tried to keep you anonymous tooth! But kudos for the weight mod! Figures a DDS would want to drill a few extra holes! Hope we can make a run soon...you are going on the May 7 run, right? Kev is running at WS at the end of this month...I may have pit passes for the U.S Sports Car Invitational at Laguna Seca that weekend so prob won't go to WS. If I get the passes I'll let you know in case you want to go...

I'll be racing with Kev at WS, well actually I'll probably be about 6 car lengths behind him, but anyway, thanks for the offer. Michelle and I will see in May!

My996, sorry to highjack your thread.

another suggestion to keep the pedals in place (from the Boxster board) is to use double sided tape

Thanks for the post. I've been sitting on a set of RUF pedal for a year and needed some motivation to install them.
