Um the AMG does not eat turbos (hence my name ). You can ask the 3 E55's I have had fun with (including the one Renntech). Also I have a 996 Turbo and E55 in the garage so I am pretty sure
Evan
PS- AWD is the only reason the Sti won that race... Do it from a roll and tell me what happens....

Musta been tiptronic or poor drivers because they should be even at worst stock to stock...
What do I know, we haven't owned 3 turbos and 2 E55's or anything...
Evan
PS- Wouldn't it be funny to see our Cayenne pull the Sti when its done??

Wow, another horribly shot, inconclusive racing video . AWD vs. RWD can never be conclusive from a stop unless they reach very high speeds. Hell, I can probably beat Shank's Viper up to 60 on the street, but that obviously isn't indicative of anything

A decently powered AWD car with a good launch can probably beat any RWD car up to 60 or so (on street tires). After that though, say goodnight

AMG ETR-

been there and done that with my Cayenne Turbo. Yeah, I can pretty much say this

E55 > Cayenne Turbo (by FAR, BUSLENGHTS)
Cayenne Turbo > STI (been there done that)
therefore, using common knowledge........

E55> STI

but yeah, unless the guy is a horrible driver, no stock or even potentially insanely modded STI is going to hang with a 996 Turbo, no doubt. And even a slightly modded STI would be beat by an E55.
