My seats are in perfect condition except on the middle sides. Some cracking and ripping. Just curious if anyone has covered the area with anything? I was thinking about doing some sections in suede. Really not looking to get new seats. Pictures if you have done anything would be great!

upholstery shop can usually replace that single panel. also there are leather repair people who will essentially sew and paint it and make it look new.

can't speak for NJ, but when I was in CA, i knew upholstry shops that can redo all the seats in cars (not huge suv/vans) for less than 1k... with real leather... i'd suggest you call around and get some quotes...

I had some panels replaced on my front seats with OEM Porsche leather by a local shop for $250 per panel. The shop was recommended by my local dealer. I think they did a nice job. I also had heated seats added while the seats were apart for the leather repair.

This isn't the cheapest way to go, but it will give you good results.
