Hi all!!

Hello, I am new here to 6speed as you can see.
A few months ago I purchased a 2003 996 carrera coupe
And I have been looking all over for a forums area.
wooohooo now I am in business!
Cannot wait to start my build and get some pics up.
One quick question, where is the clutch master cylinder located on the 3.6l 996? I was wondering how to see the level of fluid

Welcome.

The clutch master cylinder is linked to the brake master cylinder so there is none per se. That is, the clutch line uses the brake master cylinder. When bleeding the brakes, I also do the clutch line. The valve for the clutch is on the clutch slave cylinder just above the transmission.

FYI: you might want to check out rennlist.org or renntech.org which are porsche-specific and tend to have more tech-oriented conversations.
