Has anyone removed their front wiper arms?

I would consider wipers "safety equipment". When they are present, you don't really notice how often they are required but if they are removed and some guy in front of you blows a coolant hose at 80 mph and you don't have them, there is going to be trouble. Is it worth looking cooler? Just my thoughts...

A friend of mine used to have an old Fiat Spider. Cute little car, but it did have a few mechanical issues (I know, hard to believe for a Fiat). One of them was that he was never quite sure if the wipers would work when he turned the switch. Rain-X was his backup plan, and it worked just fine.

Okay, so here's what I did to cover the wiper stems. I spent $3 on a set of 3/8" rubber vacuum hose caps, which fit perfectly over the stems and just squeeze onto the stems. If anyone else want to do this, the part no. 47395 at Advance Auto Parts. Similar items are available at Auto Zone as well.

It's a C2. Are you hoping it's not a C4S because they come with a rear wiper as well?

Looks nice. By the way, I did get a nice ding in my hood from the hail storm. There was one piece of hail that was the size of a lemon and I guess that's the one that did the damage. It's not noticeable from most angles, so I'll wait to get it fixed.

Bummer about the hail storm ding. August was a rough month. I mean, hail storm, then earthquake, then hurricane. Uggh. At least we got our power back in about a day and a half after the hurricane. A few large trees in the back yard toppled, which we still need to deal with.
