Short and sweet. I have a 99 C2 Aero with 86K on it and when I start it up after it's sat for a day or more it ticks loud as it starts, but soon as the revs settle it's fine... no issues then unless I drive the car for a good portion of the day and actually drive it hard then it'll tick at idle.

Any thoughts?

Note, under regular driving there are no noises and I can start it up several times thru out the day with no noises.

So, how do I get rid of the ticking? And is it just so loud because I have the muffler bypasses?

 

You got a 1999 with a 3.4 liter engine. Have your replaced any of the seals? IMS RMS etc?? Ever done a leakdown test??
