this morning i found a puddle under drivers side muffler.... First time ever seen a drop... 1 have put 400 hard driven miles in the last 2 weeks.... replaced the cap last week and all this time the level was exactly at max.... drove it like i stole it all morning, left it sitting and no leak again..... this week end i'll remove wheels and mufflers to see what is going on...

is your coolant expansion tank yellowish or white...if its yellow then there maybe a hairline crack underneath...

Did you overfill? Another possibility is that tank is overfilled and is leaking out the overfill tube... but odds are it could be a leaky tank. Could also be a loose hose clamp.

Coolant tank, coolant tank valve, coolant cap, or AOS would be were I would look first.
When my AOS went out is was dripping off the side on the engine. So if your is close to the wheel well the in might be the tank, tank valve, or cap.

@ Logray- dont think, since i did have to add 1 litter 3 weeks ago..... I normally fill till the level indicator inside....'

@Function12- AOS would have given smoke or some cross contamination... I have now 5k on castrol 5w50, did not loose or burn a drop of oil, and still looks good on the stick....

I'm waiting blackstone kit to change oil.... But the fact that it looses coolant only some time is really something....

Nope the AOS has a water cooling section that cools the oil as it passes through it. It can crack and lose water or oil. It can also cause an intermix. Very rare though.
Cheap part but the labor with eat you alive.

Could be you have air in the system if you keep adding but it's not leaking anywhere.

Safest thing to do is drain and have it filled with a vacuum system, which can also check to make sure there are no leaks at the same time.

But certainly it sounds like if you have a leak and see/smell fluid then hose, tank, cap, AOS, are the possibilities and explanation for losing fluid.

Also be sure to add distilled water or a compatible coolant. If you are adding incompatible coolant it will gel and cause much bigger nightmares down the road.

I'd wager a leak. The most common spots are the expension tank and front radiators. When did you pull your front bumper off and check their condition last? The radiators are almost a consumable part.

@ NBTBRV8, had both radiators replaced in mar this year. OK so today i removed whels and exhaust, i replaced al plugs, they looked very clean, scoped cilinders, changed iol and filter (sent to blackstone)... Since i added 1 littre i have driven the car almost 1000 mi. I have replaced the cap about 600 mi. Water level is good. It must had been the cap or just air in the sys... I'll post what blackstone says... Thanks to everyone for the ideas BTW i also flushed the brakes with ATE blue... AWESOM!
