like i said i bought a 2001/996 c2 w/ factory aero kit a while back and so far i have added

18"x10.0 rear turbo twist bridgstone Polepostion 285/30 and 18x8.0 turbotwist bridgestone PP 225/40, (this way no need for spacers or to miss with offsets, worked out nicely)

Belstine PS9 coil overs adjusted down .8" sets nice and clean but not so low to drive on my bad roads.

Replace clutch at 80K just cause i wanted to has 82k now

had the dreaded IMS leak so updated it with the LN engineering update went ahead and change the RMS while i was in there.

added the factory sport exhaust stanless like the sound upgrade.

still have very slight oil leak seems only after been driving during cool down a drop or 2 only makes me think case i hope not, but if it is not sure if from driving habits of last owner . Has me concerned, might be just the way I'm. Owed several air cooled porsches and all leaked a little usually was a line or fitting. Old days we would have to time cert the block halves but I could rebuild it now days they seem to be a pressed block halves.

thats where i stand on this project now.

Had check eng light come one tested code and reset was 2nd airpump but airpump runs fine with direct connect to a battery so unsure at what point I losing conductivity. Not familiar with these air cooled beat yet but learning all help is greatly appreciated....hint hint

Just as i side not if there is any pc gamers out there i run the server for the iplounge.net where we still fly around with the old Need for Speed game Porsche unleashed come on out and get some.

I have owned several air cooled porsches from 356's on looking hard at a 95Turbo 993 has 26K on it debating good time to buy do to the low economy , but also a good time to not spend money.

Sorry been busy

Fixed the check engine light turned out to code as 2ndary injector pump , so i replaced both the canister and the one way valve, they both failed to hold vaccum so out they went.

Now if weather is good i will give it a bath and takes some pic's I have a few from before i updated to 18" wheels had factory 17" turbo twist and i painted them my own mix i call it brake dust brown... LOL I will try to get them posted this weekend.

Looks like soon she becomes a garage queen found out next thursday i get my shoulder operated on tore rotator and biceps on right arm so i guess i should have bought a tiptronic.
