Any NHRA Fans out there???
The company I work for (Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc.) is the primary sponsor for the Top Fuel Funny Car driven by Tim Wilkerson. My role is a marketing representative so annually I attend the Englishtown, NJ race and this year for the first time in Reading, PA. I was at Reading a few weeks ago and got down to the starting line for one of the qualifying runs. A good friend shot this video which I edited and put up on YouTube. Sounds insane from this vantage point!

I used to live and breathe NHRA in the 60's & 70's. My brother and I owned Division V in what was called Modified Production (now pro stock). Great times & great memories - it amazes me what we did without sponsorships back then. Impossible to race without them today!!
Nice funny car - good luck and may you stay competitive...and solvent.

Hey Fly nice video!
I've actually driven one of these "funny" cars once... never again!!!!!
and "driven" is a big word, more like holding on to your ********* and praying to God as the gates of hell open up while ya get launched through it!
I couldn't breath or see anything (crying like a baby) because of those pungent fumes... what... did ya say something? I can't hear you! let me get the blood out of my ears first
I've done some crazy things in my life, "piloting" one of these is at the top of that list (was shaking for hours)... second was skydiving with strippers in lingerie... still shaking
Cheers!
Sid.

Wow, you actually drove one of these and lived to tell about it? Rep to you. Impressed.
