AARRGH....scratched the lip of my rim
Well the title says it all..I scratched my rear rim lip (SSR GT3) while parallel parking today. Yes, i know...totally my fault. Should have judged it better. But oh well, cannot cry over spilled milk.
Anyone know how much it would cost, and how long would it take to polish / fix the lip?
In addtion, anyone know a reputable place i could get it fixed in the Toronto area?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know what those wheels look like exactly, but if it's a polished rim (with or without clear coat), you can do a very good job of repairing them yourself. Forget about fixing painted rims yourself...
I had curb rash in all 4 of my stock Viper rims (polished with clear coat) and I just used a dremel with a sanding cylinder to remove the rashy parts and then some 600grit sand paper and finally some 3M polish to smooth it out to the point that it was impossible to see the repair. The parts that didin't have clear coat anymore stayed looking good for a long time and if needed I could have polished any corrosion off easily.
Saved myself $400 plus the cost of mounting and balancing, and even did the repair while the wheels were on the car. Overall, much easier and cost effective.
