C4S Brake Pads & Roto recomendations
Folks, I am getting close to replacing my brake pads and rotors. What do you guys recommend for good pads and rotor, do I stick with stocks or upgrade?
Where would you recommend getting them?
Thanks for the help.

i ordered my 2 front rotors, pads and sensors from autopartsway.ca they sent me an email confirming that they sent the order out, 2 weeks later i get only 1 rotor and pads and sensors... So i called them and asked them when the second one was coming since the order said it may come in two seperate orders and they said they don't have it in stock and MIGHT get it in 3 to 5 weeks and asked me if i wanted to wait.lol... So I thanked them and asked them to refund my money for the rotor and ordered one rotor from vertex.... By the way i used Sebro rotors and pagid pads, does the job for me.

From what I've read, the Sebro rotors (OEM supplier) are fine. If you're worried about the hats rusting simply paint them before installing them. Sebro will be my choice when I have to replace rotors (in probably another year or two) based on "value for money" criteria.
I have the Hawk HPS Ferro-carbon pads and I love 'em. They're not necessarily "low dust", but the dust they do produce is much less noticeable and much easier to clean off than dust from OEM pads. Braking performance seems on par with OEM but I didn't perform any sort of back-to-back scientific test to validate that!

i am looking into the EBC yellowstuff 4000
I just need to pick the rotors now, i was looking into the brembo gt, but they only make it for the front, and woul like to keep the same for the rear.
any good rotor set for front and rear?

I think i got the rotors, i am looking into the Girodisc Rotor set for 996 turbo & C4S. It requires shims for fit, but comes with the set.

i looked at the Sebro and Zimmermann, and they look great replacement for the price. I am leaning towards that direction now.
TT996al, keep us posted with the Girodisc, how is it working out for you.
Zookie let us know if you go for the Sebro and give us your feedback.

Anyone here have any experiance with "Sebro Brake Pad Wear Sensor" compare to "Factory Porsche" ones? They are a few bucks cheaper lols http://www.autopartsway.ca/PartDetai.../pagenum1/tabS

Brake wear sensors are a very simple part--just a looped wire with a couple of plastic fittings that clip onto the brake pad. I haven't needed to replace mine but I'd try the Sebros if I needed to...they look identical to the Porsche ones (they might even be the OEM supplier).
If yours are not worn through (no "brake pad warning" light) then just reuse the ones you have.
BTW: AutohausAZ has wear sensors for around US$10 apiece--you'd need to check shipping/duties to Canada though.
