Railroad crossing vs my front spoiler

Somehow I knew this would happen sooner or later...I've cross these tracks everyday with caution but not this time...my stubborn assss forgot to slow down & next thing I heard was a loud scrape & a crunch...It's bad enough that I scraped the lip everyday pulling out of the driveway & now this happens...Arggggggghhh...maybe I should invest in another bumper that doesn't sit too low or gets some KW..

Ouch! Can you just take the lower splitter off? I did with mine and thought it looks alright without it. Although mine is not oem.

Looks like most of the damage is on the lip. Luckily you can just buy the lip through ebay for a couple bucks. Maybe get a bulk discount and have a surplus of these in your garage? imho, just won't look right without that lip.

there's a spider crack on the lower center grill...hope it doesn't get worst or I'll end up respraying the entire bumper.....yeah, I may have to get some extras...

yes, everyday..pulling in & out even at an angle...I don't want to angle it too much cause there's a curb on both sides & the the driveway is narrow..

Oh dude that sucks!!!
Have you looked into getting an OEM GT3 997 lip?
I had the same experience as you on my previous P. and will never run with a fiberglass lip EVER again!

Have the OEM poly lip on my GT2 997 Frankenstein bumper and man can that take a liking and keep on ticking!!!

GL!

I am thinking about getting the oem lip & extras if they're cheap enough..the one I have now is poly...there was a double dip on the tracks...the second dip I drove thru was when I heard a snap or crunch...

Just get another LIP, the car will never look as good if you take the lip off

Been there, done that. If you have a private driveway, then something like this should work. Or else, I use to carry a couple pieces of wood in the trunk since my garage used to be situated off a public alley. It's really a shame that I can't drop my car more even though if I have the GT3 suspension.

Edit: Real "Sports Car" examples:
