I installed pads and rotors last Feb.2011. They were good till now. A squeal has now developed in the last month or so. They only squeal at 5 mph, just before the car stops, otherwise there is no problem while driving or stopping till the last few feet. I installed new "anti- squeal" pads from my Porsche dealer. This did not help. I thought I had the answer when I ground down the pads with sandpaper,(I did all pads and their edges). Everyone I talk to, even the Porsche repair place I deal with said that "all" Porsche's brakes have a problem. I have checked other mechanics and they all say the same thing. How come my 1996 Grand Voyager and my 2006 and 2000 Jettas make NO brake sound.?

Mine does it, haven't changed pads yet but planning on it next week, hope it stops for awhile at least.

 

I'm having issues too. But mine is when I'm driving and it goes away when I break.

I still haven't checked it out.

Anyone have any ideas?? I'm thinking it's the pads as well.
