You're going to have a hard time finding a tuning solution with the DBC.

The turbo kits seem to be for the 2000 and newer models since the '99 uses a cable and not the E-Gas throttle body. Yep, I have a '99 as well...

I guess my question would be: do you want to look fast or go fast?

If you take a close look at their site, and I did, most of the tuning on the 996 is for the newer ECU.

And to answer your question, I'm in the Memphis, TN area...

There are a couple of tuners that stated in forums that can do it. I can't remember which ones but do a search. I think Vivid was one of them, in their intro post for their turbo.

i would love to have the turbo experience but i guess i need to find a 2000 or above.

is it even possible to get a engine swap for turbo in 1999 using 2002 turbo engine?

anyone thinks its tasteless to do a white red gt3 rs when the car is older? thats why i thought going with turbo and maybe a front bumper kit will be better.

Well I have to confess that my car's in the shop getting the 997 conversion from Precision Porsche. I hit the wall a couple of times at the local track last month and I decided I wanted a lighter front end It should be out of there in February.

I am interested in the turbo but it's pretty far down the list. I'm after the PSS10 suspension and sway bar upgrades next.

Happy holidays!
