Removing immo connectors

I need some guidance removing the immo in my 20002 C2 so I can replace it. After much back and forth of the front seat I loosened the immo. I've also disconnected the blue connector and the single-wire black connector, however the rectangular black rectangular piece will not come off. The seat is now completely forward and the immo is sticking out enough to grab the connector. I've practiced removing this connector on the immo that I hope to put in. This takes some effort, but I can pull it off. The one that is in the car does not not come off by simply pinching and pulling. I've tried starting it by prying the outer tab with a flat-blade screwdriver, but that did help. The thing that makes this harder is that because of the black molded plastic shelf above the connector, I can only get to the connector by contorting my hand to reach from the bottom (there is not enough cable to pull it out further so I can flip it). This way I don't get a lot of leverage.

Does anyone have any hints?

Remove the 4 bolts holding your seat onto the frame, tilt the seat back.

Now you have room to see and work!
