PSS9 front adjustment **** is spinning freely

I went to firm up my pss9 front dampening ***** and at first they were locked/frozen. Now they are just spinning freely and loosely and not clicking. Are these ***** broken or what do I need to do? It looks like they have a threaded golden alloy nut above them with a place to put a wrench. Any advice is most appreciated.

I believe that all PSS9/10's come with a lifetime warranty so that if you send the to Bilstein the rebuild is free. Give them a call to confirm this though.

One of my rear shocks did the same, when I went to set it at full soft. I hope that it adjusted, even though it does not stop spinning.

Bilstein out a month / help, want to buy used fronts only

Okay, so I just got off the phone with Bilstein service. Not only are they out a complete month with no rush service, they don't even know if they'll have the parts to fix my front coil overs. CRAP! So, that leaves me looking for front pss9 coil overs only. Or pss10's for that matter. My backs are working perfectly, but the front are stuck on soft and the car porpoises and floats too much at high speeds and cornering.

Does anyone have any fronts for sale? A rear ended car with pss9's. I'm just trying to figure this out without having to buy a complete new system or set. Chris

What does that mean? does that means they stop making Replacement/Rebuild Parts for PSS9's?

I only know they are out 1 whole month, he said no gaurantees they could fix it, they are discontinuing PSS9's and will be limited to parts on hand. AND, to top it off, if they could not fix it, they would not be able to "break" a set and sell me only PSS10's for the front only. I'm really trying to figure all this out. What shop will let you take up a bay for a month. I'm not handy enough to do this in my garage. I'm probably just going to buy another brand of coilovers if I cannot find front PSS9's or 10's from somebody at a reasonable price. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated...thanks.

Get a New/Used Set, they come up for Sale all the time on Here, Rennlist & Ebay.

Swap them and send your old ones for Rebuilt, if they get Fully Rebuilt sucessfully, You can sell them as a "Factory Rebuilt Set" (Practicially Brand New) and make your Money Back.

My PSS9's which i bought Brand New are now 5+ Years Old and have 100,000+ KM on them... Daily Driven regardless of the Weather and Regular Track Duty. Mine are just Fine but sometime i feel with so much use i have put on them, i should buy a Good Used Set as a Spare incase im in a Situation like yours in the Future...

But Goodluck with your. Keep us Updated

I have a set of RUF PSS9s sitting in a box at home I might part with. It's a complete set and includes the RUF rear adjustable sway bar matched to the suspension. It has right at 10K miles on it and was removed when the car was up with a club sport suspension.

Hey Powderhound, I'd love to know what you were thinking on price. You can pm me when you get a minute. Do the RUF's ride harsher than the regular ones? Or are they pretty much the same. I'm primarily street driving, but like to get after it now and again. I just hate the floaty feeling front now and feel it is due to being too soft? Anyway, thanks for your advice and let me know on pricing. Have a great weekend! Chris
