As mentioned above, I would highly recommend paying someone to do it right rather than attempting it yourself.

Well, the wrap is in the mail. In about a week I'm either going to be gloating like jerk, or crying like a girl.

@SVT & Bunny: If my wrap is garbage, I will definitely post pics of the fail. It should be interesting, I'm not the smartest tool in the shed, but I do alright. I've wrapped several vehicle hoods on 4x4s and the like, and never had any problems.

Pics by next weekend, hopefully.

How much did you pay for the vinyl and how much did you get.. Good luck and let me know how it goes my brother. If you have success I may try it.

I'm glad you're giving it a try, Scoutsout. Some don't seem to understand that it's not permanent and if you don't like how it turns out you can remove it and then have it professionally done. Please post your results either way as if you're successful it may give me motivation to try it too. Thanks.

Interesting. Thanks.

I don't see the appeal, but that's just my .02. To each their own.

If I were to wrap my car, there's a few things I'd worry about. First I can see myself putting a few scratches in the paint by not being careful with the razor blade around all the trim and panels. Second would be having enough time to finish the job. An experienced installer can do a car in two days hopefully without any issues with the install. A rookie installer, who knows. Hope you have alot of patience. Good Luck.

I have never wrapped anything at all.
But I did the same thing you did, I wrapped all my wheels in matte black and came out amazing.
I wrapped my hood, roof and tail.
You just need to be smart, its all about geometry! and where to cut and use the right pressure. I can get some pics up soon. Give

The car is in the garage far from me, so I cant get pics of the body for you.
it was very tedious! Grab a beer in between segments and relax. Your eyes will start to get angry at you
