Picked up a pair of infinity kappa 42.9i to replace the dash speakers. I've always like the sound of infinity kappas, so this should be a good upgrade. I just shelled out for the car, so I'm not about to spend $600 for a pair of focals! Maybe I'll start an audio upgrade thread.

I looked for a good price but couldn't find anything near that. All were in the $400 and up range for the 4" shallow. no biggie. If I want audiophile sound I'll listen on my home stereo.

thanks! I was a little unsure of it at first, but the longer I have it, the more I like it.
From what I understand, 1999 did not have a bose option. Mine were OEM Nokia, 2 dash, 2 door mids, and 2 rear. The dash speakers were a tough fit, the door speakers were drop in 5.25". I haven't done anything with the rear speakers yet nor have I changed the head unit and amp yet. I'm working wicked long hours so the car is in the garage until the end of the May.
