Which 991 to get..
#16
I love my cab and would not get anything else. And it might be a little while longer until they are dealing on the cabs as they are not released yet and there will be a line at first, but it will happen. You always pay a premium to be one of the first to drive a new model.

I made the mistake of actually driving it... several times .
Now I just can't help myself!

Psycho, Just curious. If you're seeking information/opinion about the 991, why not post it in the 991 section? Disregard, I see you did there too. Since you asked, I prefer the 996 body style and size/shape over the 991. They just keep getting "longer in the tooth" or more GT looking. Almost 928 styling. The newer, of course, has updated "things" but from a pure driver perspective I would actually go older rather than newer. I've had 2002, 2001 and 1999 and prefer my current 1999. In fact, I recently traded a mint 2002 cab. for my current 1999 because I liked the way it handles and feels over the '02. If it weren't for the age, I would actually go mid-to-late 80's for an older 911 turbo. Again, the styling (to me) is the best - but not the handling, brakes... While I like the newer Navs and toys, I don't drive a Porsche for the amenities. Just the driving. That and nothing looks like a 911, especially the older ones. And the new 991's don't look like this, but they're nice cars of course.
Shameless, self-promotion .... I know.

I absolutely love my '04 c4S 996 !!!
And would keep it if I had the room, it's real bitter sweet, I've put so much time, effort. passion and pride into this car (not to mention $$) but I'm done customizing and am looking forward to another decade of projects with the new 991.
I'll be sad to see her go.
Hope I can find her a good home...
That said, I'm VERY excited to get a new ride and am planing a European delivery with a trip around the Cote D'Azure
edit, just noticed you added the pics... nice!
