Clutch slipping at 46k?

Look try this, drive the car for a few miles and let it warm up. Then in 1st gear role it till 4k rpm or so and put it into 5th or even 6th gear. If your clutch is done then as you put it in to that high gear at that low of speed the rpms will shoot up and the car will not accelerate just makes alot of engine noise as it is slipping. If it boges down and even cuts off then your good clutch should be fine, plus if it is slipping bad enough you can smell it in some cases. Good Luck!!
