DECTANE 997 LED Tail Lights & License plate LEDs

I always wanted LEDs but I didn't want the cheap look / feel / quality of the earlier LED tail variants. These Dectane LEDs imported from Germany are very high quality. Fit and finish is perfect. Completely plug and play.
I also got mine from Pitlane and it took about 1 month to the US.

Looks very cool, may I ask what that set you back? Also what type of 3rd brake light is that? I heard a few vendors had faults with the comp.

 

the dectane 997 tails were just shy of $600 after converting from euro shipped to the US.

i know of only two vendors for the third brake led for the 996. maxspeed motorsports and ebay sportscarextras. i got mine used, but it looks exactly like those.

 

Hey balefire - glad you were able to make use of my advice and purchase from the same seller. To me, like you, the $250 saving was worth the hassle of waiting eagerly for a couple of weeks more than if it came from somewhere more central.

Anyway - honestly your car looks so fantastic now with these tail lights. It really sets the back off well. Congrats!

I am not sure whether I sound like a nutter here, but looking at the old tail lights every time I walked up to the car was almost enough for me to sell the car! haha. Now I perve on the rear end every time instead!

No, actually I ordered the Dectane tail lights from Orange Tuning and dealing with Frank. He's been easy to deal with but I think they accidentally sent the wrong ones.

 

Dude, I hate you. That is seriously my dream 911. I'd just like to state for the record that if it goes missing, and an identical one shows up in my driveway, I had nothing to do with yours going missing. Really. I swear. Seriously, though, amazing looking car.
