Fister D exhausts ordered
(excuse the spelling of my thread title haha - that'll teach me not to check first)
Well my ticket is finally up and I got the email from Darin Fister to say that my mufflers are ready to be shipped.
I went with the modified mufflers with the cermachrome finish on them, and opted to pay the extra $250 and keep my factory mufflers (never know if I will need them for resale purposes at a later date).
Anyway - I am thoroughly looking forward to having a nice sporty, yet refined sound to match the looks of the car!
Any feedback on my car is welcomed! It is pretty standard apart from the factory delivered aero kit, H&R coil overs, 19 inch wheels, double din navigation/stereo and stealth sub install, K&N intake and of course the 997 styled LED tail lights.
Once the Fisters rock up I will be sure to do a before and after youtube video and add my comments...whilst I am sure they will be the same as all of the other glowing reports on the forums

I did the online order on the 28th of April, and they were ready on the 29th of May, so one month.
Not too bad at all!

I'm not speaking from experience, the only thing I can think is "is your car a 3.4 or 3.6"? It could be that they need different cores for the 3.4 and 3.6 and maybe they just haven't got any 3.4s lately?
Again - I have no idea, just a thought....

Just got my cans back from Darin and all I can say is WOW! Now this thing sounds like the performance machine it truly is.
Not that the stock sound is so bad, rather that a 911 that runs well needs the sound that this muffler mod gives you. I absolutely LOVE this mod and can't recommend it highly enough.
Got a new vanity plate ( SCREAMS ) and it fits the car with this exhaust. Sounds completely stock until you open the throttle and then it's party time. Biggest grin I've had on my face since buying the car.
Had a little surface rust on the cans (stock 03 3.6) so I opted for the ceramic coating in the Titanium color. Want the cans to last as long as possible!
Also have to speak to the quality of the welds which were top notch.
If you're considering this mod.....get your CC out and make the call.....
