Wheel restoration - San Jose area

I need to get my wheels (Sport Design 18") restored as I can see some of the clear coat coming off one of the rear wheels. Any one know something close to me (San Jose, ca) that will do this kind of work and what I would expect to pay?

I had a good experience with Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara. They painted and clear powder coated my Turbo Twists a little while back and they've held up very well.

Thanks. I contacted them and I'm waiting for a response. I did a quote for full ( Outer rim and centers) of $1800 from Wheel enhancement in SOcal). A lot of money but I trying to see what the turn around time is as I can only take 2 wheels off at a time ( limited space in my garage). I can pick up a fully new set for $3630 or less from ebay.

Are you saying that Wheel Enhancement wants $1800 for restoring 4 wheels?? Does that include shipping?? A couple of years ago, I paid $125 each wheel at a place here in Santa Ana with the same exact wheel. They took the Sport design and chromed each one then painted the inside gun metal grey for my 928 S4. They look outstanding and I got compliments where ever I went This is the only photo I have left...

I don't know if restoring is much more involved, but I paid about $150 per wheel to have them painted and clear powder coated at Wheel Techniques.

The $1800 as for both the rims and the centers and Specifically mention that shipping was extra. I still have yet to hear back from Wheel Techniques.

I found the receipt, and my Sport Designs were done through Wheel Dynamics at a cost of $125 per wheel. They are in Monterey Park California not Santa Ana. Mine was painted and clear coated also. The sales guy's name was Eli, and a terrific guy to deal with. Good luck.

a decent body shop can do those easily if the rims aren't bent.

our shop used to use wheeltechnique but their quality has gone down hill. wheels america does most of our wheel repairs now. 1800 sounds really high. for refinishing it shouldnt cost more than 300 per wheel.
