carbon fiber peeling

newbie but been browsing for awhile. i have a 99 c2 with factory carbon fiber. trim around the right air vent is peeling. any trick to fixing it? my initial instinct is to crazy glue it but in closer scrutiny i noticed carbon piece is pretty stiff. also b/c of the curvature i don't think even crazy glue would do the job. any ideas or suggestions? thanks.

Common and it's Warranty item....

That's why their is usually a lot of "damaged" carbon fiber parts on ebay... If it's a factory part, they will replace under warranty, then check you may find your old part for sale online.

Cheers,
Corey

A 99C2 is out of warranty right?

They will replace it under warranty, but if it fails (and it will) after warranty your on your own....

warranty expired long ago. 80% of the piece is still in contact with the dash flat and in good condition. it is not damaged, just peeled up.

Do you have a bumper to bumper extended warranty. I'm pretty shure back in 99(when porsche had 2 year warranties) they offered a longer factory warranty. Do you have that? Depending on your in-service date it might be under warranty in that case...

How about using clear silicon to glue it and seal it?
