New to the Porsche world. I've noticed that you can get the turbo wide body panels on the carerra. Other than the engine are there many differences in the drivetrain? Can the drivetrain on the lower model handle the same amount of power as the turbo? Are there any differences in the bracing of the body? I've searched a few forums now and used Wikipedia but it doesn't give me the specifics other than the engine.

 

I am pretty sure that the main difference is the engine. Also if you notice, the side panels on the turbo have vents on them.

 

Carrera 4S is almost identical in every way to the turbo model...minus 2 turbo's and 100 hp.

I'd like to make something for the track eventually (so I want it to be durable) but wasn't sure if there were many differences other than the engine. Are the brakes the same too?
