So I got in on the Group Buy for the Dectane LED tail lights and really like the updated look of them. I also got the Sport Classic Ducktail from Getty Design painted and installed.

Its almost complete except for the third tail light that goes into the decklid. I dropped the third light so one corner chipped. I decided to test fit it and when putting it into place the other corner snapped off, so it is now about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch short on each end.

I already ordered a replacement part so that's not a big deal HOWEVER, is there a trick to installing these lights? I am trying to fit the light in without the front reflector tips on the end and the clips dont seem to lock... it pops out on either side when i try to get the opposite in. Should I bondo it in?
