stephan_porsche is infamous around these parts
Justed dropped front and rear to 30psi, launched 1st gear at 6100 RPMs, feathered the clutch, short shifted 2nd gear than redlined 3rd, then got into 4th gear and ran a 12.49 @ 118mph with a 0-60 of 4.2 seconds.

stephan_porsche So far so good. I wonder if raising your front by 10 psi (as indicated in my first response) would improve your time. FYI: OEM +/- 10 psi = ~ 34 R; ~ 46 F. Good luck.

You want a faster 1/4 buy a Turbo 911 or Mustang and massage the engine :/
My thoughts precisely, but it's your toy so do as you please.

I don't believe a 911 is a 1/4 machine. It's more of a road course vehicle.

For a 1/4 mile drag toy I'd buy a older camaro/corvette/trans am and drop in a big motor...not that expensive to do compared to doing similar type set up in a 911.

How exactly are you dropping the clutch?
Sidestep?
Coming off the clutch as fast as possible?
Coming off the clutch slowly, feathering it?

Are you getting lots of wheel hop? How are you managing it?

Thanks!

The car isnt going to be used as a drag racing machine but after doing a total build like i did, I need to validate the car and know 100% what she is capable of.
