01 Porsche Carrera C2 brake issue
I have a 01 Porsche Carrera C2 tiptronic.
I have a brake issue on my car.
The brake is really weak (feels like soft) and need to push all way down to stop.
I replaced couple times brake fluid, brake booster, mastercylinder, stainless and brake lines. Its still not fix yet.
I don't know how should I do on my car?
Does anyone has same problem before??
Thank you.

My first suggestion, if you're not a "brake dude", is to let your mechanic maintain your brakes. That's the only thing between you, 90 mph and the guy in front of you. Did you replace the parts because of the feel of your brakes or because you were looking for a solution to your soft brakes? How many miles do you have on your car? Either way, I would drop it off at your dealership or mechanic and have them check and, if necessary, bleed them.

Are you confident that you bled the brakes sufficiently? If you've replaced all of those parts, check for leaks and then bleed the system if there are no leaks. It might be possible that you need to rebuild your calipers if none of the above works.

Did the shop replace the parts or you? If they did it, and it didn't solve the initial problem, have them replace the old (working) parts - then get it to the dealership or a much better shop.

Took me a while to adjust to the brakes on my 996
How long have you had the car and have noticed a decline in braking effiency?

Sorry about your brake issues but if a shop replaced all those parts you should be telling them to fix it right and not asking us. I would be pissed personally if I paid someone money to replace all those parts and still not have a proper working brake system.
Do you want us all to pitch in for a bigger tub of lube?

Funny thing, I also have a 2001 996 C2 Cab and the brakes seem soft. I have new rotors and had the fluid flushed twice by my local Porsche dealer with minimal improvement. To be honest, I am running the Hawk HPS pads that were recommended by some members here... I am thinking it is the pads causing this. What pads are you running... and did you bed them in properly?
I myself may end up going back to stock pads to see if that fixes the problem.

Hey, I don't know what pads I'm using right now.
I have never changed front rotors and pads since I got this car.
Cuz shop told me that no need to replace pads and rotors right now.
If pads cause this problem, it should be easy problem.

You could mask some of "the feel" with SS brake lines but isn't always guaranteed.
I guess I'm just used to it now but everytime I drive my friend's cars, I'm always "slamming" on the brakes according to them as my braking threshold has to readjust itself. lol
