Cat Bypass?

I know muffler bypass is pretty loud, but is anyone using cat bypass pipes?
With the Fisters exhaust how loud would it be? Any thoughts?

That is my exact set up right now, cat bypass with fister mod mufflers.
It's definitely pretty loud above 4000 RPM's but below that it's not too bad.

I've run the car with exhaust bypass and cat's which was too much for the street as a daily driver. (sounded good but got old) just my opinion .
I've ran it with the exhaust bypass and cat bypass and it's race car loud.
I've also run it with stock mufflers and cat bypass, it was a little louder but not much.

Sorry I don't have any sound bites of the set-up but I think it sounds pretty good.

No drone, when you get on it above 4000 rpms it's pretty loud but at cruising speeds it sounds great not that loud at all just nice little growl.
Of course it's louder than the stock exhaust at all rpms, the best way to describe it is it's loud when you want it to be and fairly tame when you don't want to attract attention to yourself.

It's not simply about the noise. Not only is it noisier but you also lose low end torque/power. You can't out engineer the factory guys.

Note: I use my car for track events and fun Sunday drives, and not as a daily driver.

I'm running cat bypass pipes with fabspeed mufflers. Most people might say too loud for the street. In my case, as a non-daily driver, I'm ok with it.

With the bypass pipes, my exhaust tips seem to get a lot hotter, for obvious reasons I suppose. The setup sounds very race-car-ish, and under wide open throttle, perhaps a bit too much if you are worried about angering your neighbors.

To be honest, I don't really like how it sounds under wide open throttle. A bit too honda-like. Plus, if you are going 100% catless, and you are sitting at a stop light with the windows down, all it takes is a slight gust of wind and the unfiltered exhaust fumes are going to get inside the interior, and probably your lungs as well, which would be my main reason for going back to cats.

I'm not entirely bored with the bypass pipes yet though. I'm going to wrap mine in exhaust wrap because as I mentioned they get quite hot, and I've noticed on my other vehicles that the wrap toned down the sound slightly as well.

I have Fabspeed X-pipe 200 cell cats and Fister exhaust, definitely not too loud. Once you hit get above 4000 it starts to speak. You can hear it purr around 3000 but its not too bad. I still can use my bluetooth and speak to anyone riding with me driving at 80 mph.
